SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a
Team Lead for a large distribution center located in
Joliet, IL. The Team Lead will be responsible for accurate receiving, storing, preparing and shipping of orders, and would be in charge of an area in the warehouse that requires a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Team Lead:-
Works with temperature sensitive plates, with three different freezer temperatures.

Lifts plates and places them into the units for shipping. Plates weigh around 15-40lbs.
Uses a hand held device that takes pictures, and emailing pictures to the office team to send to customer. -
Counts all products, compares to manifest and checks all shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates.

Signs for inbound shipments when necessary.

Transports orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
Keeps accurate records and reports. Assists in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensures proper stock rotation. -
Operates a forklift when needed.
Preferred Qualifications of the Team Lead:-
Minimum level of direct experience in a similar position: 6 months or more

Ability to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and write legibly.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.

Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety, handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight scheduling requirements.

Light ETMS, EDMS, and CFIT knowledge to log inbound/outbound scans, dimensions, weights, etc.

Forklift certification
