Sales Assistant/Customer Service

Golterman & Sabo, Inc., a family-owned specialty manufacturer and subcontractor has an immediate opening for a new team member. We are looking for a sales assistant/customer service representative in our national sales department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge of personal computers and MS Office applications (Word and Excel), and database software.
  • Maintain UPS systems and supervise shipments
  • Enter and process purchase orders and sales orders
  • Prepare quotes for sales orders
  • Respond to customer inquiries, via phone and email
  • Maintain sample inventory
  • Handle basic accounting duties, i.e., accounts receivable and record keeping
  • Maintain filing system

Required skills:

  • Accounting knowledge
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment.

Education and Experience:

  • General Office experience
  • Customer service experience
