Project Support Services serves clients in the school construction industry across Orange County and all of Southern California. We assist public school districts and community colleges with project planning, design review, and other detailed consulting services. Who We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for someone with great communications skills, confidence to ask questions and seek answers, someone who thinks critically, a team player, willing to wear numerous hats and grow professionally but also personally. We want someone who knows when to lead the team, but also feel comfortable stepping into a supporting role. Creativity is important! Must think outside the box and present new ideas on how to grow and enhance service. Someone who can take direction well, apply it and work independently. We do not believe in micromanaging, although we do require great communication. We all contribute amazing, individual assets to add to the strength and success of the organization as a whole, and want our new team member to contribute their own special flair.

The Position:

  • This person must be comfortable wearing several different hats - with the main focus on personal assistance to the CEO, project managers and accounting manager.
  • Requirements as the personal assistant to Natassia Melendrez, CEO of PSS:

- Must be proficient in: coordinating calendars, scheduling meeting with clients, finding and on boarding new clients and attending business events.

  • This person will be managing the CEO’s calendar, running personal errands time to time, scheduling appointments, meetings, preparing documents for meetings. You will be the CEO’s right hand person.
  • Requirements as the personal assistant to the project managers:

- Data entry, preparing proposals, filing, creating binders, working on projects, calling customers, visiting job sites and retrieving confidential documents such as QA/QC. In order to ensure quality service, attention to detail and keen observation is a must.

Assist the Accounting Manager several hours per week with new client set up, filing, and organizing receipts.

  • Creativity is key! We value critical thinking and out of the ordinary ideas to ensure the growth and success of our business. No idea is too crazy!
  • Minimal travel is required for this position. We attend conferences in Northern California from time to time, so must be comfortable with flying.

  • The position will start off as part time/ full time, depending on skill level and availability.
  • We pay for training and workshops that will help you be the best at your position.
  • If you run errands or drive to our client’s office mileage is covered. You must have a valid California driver’s license.

Hourly Wage:

  • The pay range is anywhere from $14-$18, it all depends on experience and education.
  • A review will be held after 90 days and then one each year.
