Renovation Church is a fast-growing community that is passionate following Jesus and helping others do the same. We recently moved into a brand new 21,000 square foot church building, and since moving our church has grown in attendance from 500 to 1300 people over the past two years. In light of this growth, we are planning a 24,000 square foot building expansion, with construction on our building beginning shortly. We are looking to hire a Creative Arts Director to oversee our growing worship, social media, and marketing departments. We are looking for a gifted leader who is passionate about worship ministry, effective in managing staff, and excited to utilize marketing to reach our community with the Gospel. RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish Vision and Leadership for the Worship / Arts Areas of Renovation Church
- Develop an attainable vision for the worship, graphic design, marketing and social media departments of Renovation Church
- Create systems and lead change so the vision is met
Oversee Creative Arts Staff
- Meet regularly with the Creative Arts Staff (worship, social media and marketing), developing each in their role to the church and holding them accountable to tasks
Direct Sunday Morning Worship Experience
- Oversee staff and volunteers serving in worship/audio/visual teams on Sunday mornings, ensuring our vision is being met during the Sunday morning worship experience
Oversee Renovation Church’s Planning and Communication Platforms
- Plan out Renovation Church’s calendar year in regards to baptisms, communion, announcements, etc.
- Send out mass weekly church emails on what’s happening at Renovation Church
- Plan out all announcements for Sunday mornings, House Groups, and bulletins
- Ensure every post on Renovation Church’s social media platforms are written accurately to express the culture of Renovation Church
Make Refinements in Renovation Church’s Worship Center
- Foresee the upcoming needs in the worship center in regards to worship/audio/video and lead changes as needed
- Continue to improve the worship center experience to minimize distractions and increase opportunity for the vision of the Sunday morning services experience to be fulfilled
Report Directly to the Executive Director of Ministries
- Meet regularly with the Executive Director of Ministries to report strengths and weaknesses of the ministry, to be held accountable for job responsibilities, and also to better develop personal leadership.
