Food Service Workers perform routine work in the preparation of meals and sanitation of food preparation/serving areas at a Department of Human Services center. Duties include: cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, work surfaces, and other kitchen items; preparing trays, measuring portions, serving food, and transporting trays, carts and nourishment; using equipment such as mixers, dicers, slicers, knives, and grinders.

SCHEDULE AND HOURS:
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with every third weekend off
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
No prior experience is required although any generalized food production/service is helpful, especially if it has been in in an institutional setting such as a hospital or nursing home.
