In this hands-on role, you’ll own all store operations, planning and prioritization for the entire building, working autonomously while applying Target’s operational guidelines. You’ll get to assemble, develop and lead a high-performing team of both managers and team members via both direct and indirect reporting relationships. Together, you’ll drive sales as you provide guidance on promotions, career development and talent management. The Store Team Leader also acts as the Leader on Duty multiple times a week. You’ll spend most of your time on your feet, moving throughout the store to interact with guests and team members and ensure that the entire business, wall-to-wall, is running optimally.
As store Team Leader, you’ll report to the District Team Leader, and work a rotating full-time schedule including days, nights and every other weekend. You’ll also enjoy competitive pay and a store discount.
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience * Supervisor level experience * Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking * Strong problem solving, decision making and financial analysis skills * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
