We currently have a great opportunity available for a Group – Integrated Technology Solutions Manager. Reporting to the Director, IVD Product Marketing, the Group – Integrated Technology Solutions Manager is responsible for lifecycle management of product and service marketing for Sysmex America, Inc. The position is responsible for creating “best-of-breed” marketing and sales programs, and is responsible for leading the commercialization of technology products, programs and services to transform business strategies into solutions to create customer value. The Group Manager will develop product and market business strategies and customer roadmaps to achieve sales and market share goals, establishing a core of resident product and customer knowledge for existing and competitive products, assisting in training sales and application roles, and launching new products and services that achieve mid-term plan goals and meet target requirements. The Group Manager will serve as the product owner and subject matter expert of technology products, programs and services.

The Group Manager will execute product vision from the highest levels of executive leadership to development and implementation teams. The Group Manager will be responsible to ensure stakeholders understand the overall strategy and development roadmap. The individual will be the product owner focusing the efforts of the team upon delivering the best possible customer value. The individual will work to bridge gaps between the business and customer needs, and the development team, while ensuring technology and service programs are integrated into the product portfolio accordingly. The Group Manager will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong inter-personal skills, organizational impact, and ability to manage products and people, within established timelines to meet departmental and company objectives. He/she is also able to effectively determine market data needs/market research needs and obtain necessary sales and marketing data to make data-driven business decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management and responsibility of the Integrated Technology Solutions Group
Directs the group activities to ensure that technical materials, white papers, sales tools, product launch materials and training material are developed as appropriate for technology products including, but not limited to WAM, My Sysmex, Caresphere and BCQM;
Develops marketing and sales strategies for product lines to achieve business plan goals;
Participates in feedback and input to R&D in S-Corp on current and future customer needs and wants as market research and analysis dictates, participates on global Sysmex IVD product teams to review and develop existing and new products as required;
Gathers and performs analysis of new business requirements and translate these into functional and technical specifications;
Liaises with technology development team to communicate customer needs applicable to product benefits and features;
Engages internal and external stakeholders to ensure solution design will meet their needs;
Works as part of the SCRUM team during the development process to ensure Scope and Design of the product meet business requirements and development schedules;
Serves as the liaison between global stakeholders and cross functional teams to drive successful commercialization;
Serves as the product owner and SME expert on product lines and is technically competent in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, including expertise in laboratory middleware and KPI management;
Other duties as requested;
Physical Risk: Regular exposures to risk that may require special training and precautions.

Percentage of Travel: 20% - 30%

Bachelor’s degree and 10-15 years of relevant work experience required. MBA preferred, MLT/MT a plus, project management expertise (PMP) a plus.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
The individual must have a good understanding of the target customers’ needs and appropriate business knowledge to lead development in coordination with all the stakeholders. Ability to think about business in a way that is abstracted from how business functions are enabled through technology innovation.
The role requires an excellent communicator and collaborator capable of sharing a vision, aligning people, focusing efforts and motivating the team. High emotional intelligence will help to collaborate and steer the product development to a successful conclusion.
The role requires a consulting mindset and design thinking, which allows a business architect to support the strategy development and further enables synthesizing of many ideas into big-picture view that integrates strategy to execution.
The individual must understand the dynamic healthcare technology landscape with an understanding of the impact of cybersecurity in the marketplace
The individual must be an agent for change, who uses business architecture to agitate and initiate action and challenge others via business designs and solutions, which drive requirements to the business operational and organizational structures.
