POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, perform patient care functions related to preparation of supplies and equipment in an
operating room, assisting in surgical procedures, and promotion or education and training related to the surgical
scrub role. Fulfillment of job duties requires the employee to have access to medication storage areas and to
transport medications to/from medication storage and delivery areas. L
Qualifications

Required:
Preferred: Certification from an accredited national certification program as a Surgical Tech
Other:
Life Support Certification: (Check all that apply)
Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Education/Knowledge (see attached explanation sheet)
Attained Level: High School Diploma
Preferred: AA/Certification from an accredited national certification program as a Surgical Technologist
Completed Course Work/Program: Accredited Surgical Technologist Program
Applicable Experience
Experience (years): Required: 0-6 months Preferred: 1 - 3 years
Experience (describe required & preferred): Off shifts positions require trauma proficiency
