About the Role
Harman is seeking results-driven, high-performance professional to spearhead new customer acquisition and account management for assigned Enterprise customers in Bay area / NorCal region for its Digital Transformation Solutions SBU. Passionate individual with 15years or more of total professional experience of which 10+ years acquiring and growing large strategic accounts. Expected to have demonstrated track record in Sales of Software/IP Licensing (AI, NLP, IoT), System Integration and consultative Gen Product development services selling across ISV, Healthcare, Hi-Tech and Embedded industry.

What You Will Do
As a Sales Director, you are expected to drive revenue growth and nurture strategic relationships with CxOs, Business leaders and Budget owners. You are responsible for owning the customer relationship as a custodian, and act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and client for efficient solution delivery and demand fulfillment. This position carries following responsibilities:
Expertise in selling Software Licenses, Product solutions, Technology and IT infrastructure outsourcing or product development services to ISV, Healthcare, Hi-Tech or Embedded industry is a Must.
Hunt for new logos, qualifying opportunities and orchestrating the pre-sales cycle to conversion lifecycle, while ensuring effective C-Level engagement and communication
Experience selling next gen technology Products, IP and Solutions viz.AI, ML, NLP, IoT, Cloud to enterprise customers
Influencing stakeholders and decision makers within Customers and Prospects to drive win-win outcomes for both organizations.
Manage assigned customer accounts, generate competitively superior growth through farming and ensuring high customer satisfaction
Build and execute strategic account plans for your field of play, hunt and build qualified pipeline to deliver against assigned Quota (Revenue and booking targets)
Collaborate with HARMAN’s solution engineering and delivery teams to craft business propositions
Should have managed an annual bookings portfolio of $10 to $25+ Million
Strong Business acumen, communication, negotiation, judgement and decision-making skills are a pre-requisite
What You Need
Sales Director is expected to have a strong technology background in customer facing roles in Sales and Account Management, vectored on Customer obsession and centricity.
Understanding of global delivery model and multi-site project execution is mandatory
Strong business acumen, relentless customer focus, communicating Value proposition, and solid presentation skills
Experience in handling RFP/RFQ cycles and must have been involved in RFP response to PO lifecycle
Experience collaborating with Solution/Pre-Sales, delivery teams and competency centers to tailor and create winning proposals
Experience in selling Software Solution, Licenses and Product Engineering Services to Hi-Tech clients
Experience in crafting winning Customer proposal presentations and walk-throughs
Forecast Sales Pipeline and Deal Closure through tools like SFDC and ensuring accuracy on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Must have managed annual revenue portfolio in excess of $10 Million
Minimum 15 years or more of total professional experience of which 10+ years of verifiable experience in managing large strategic customers.
Minimum B.S./ Bachelor’s Degree. M.S., M.B.A. or Post Graduate degree is preferred
