As part of the Digital & Platform Services organization, AreaX is an established program in the Digital Innovation group. AreaX, is charged with taking concepts to working prototypes within six to 12 weeks sprints, by re-thinking products & processes across the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). Increasingly, we want to be at the forefront of new and innovative technologies whilst also staying relevant to our ever changing client needs. Ideating, designing and developing products within AreaX help get ideas to market quicker. A short development timeframe requires the team to be strategic and precise when deciding whether to mature a product or stand down. In addition to the overall feasibility of the idea, we consider data points such as long-term product strategy, monetization opportunities and current market trends and work across our lines of business in furthering new products.

Who are we hiring?
We are seeking a Product Management Associate to join the AreaX team to help scale and run product management responsibilities.
Construct and maintain a stack ranked product backlog of user stories for existing and new products
Work with peer Product Managers and business Product Owner to capture needs and translate to bit size requirements and a healthy prioritized backlog
Work with Design to ensure a high fidelity user experience
Partner with engineering team, product peers, business stakeholders to define product priorities
Work with user community on UAT testing, and iterate with engineering teams to ensure testing results correspond to business expectations
3+ years of digital product management preferably with a technical background
A solid grasp of user-centered design, measurements and testing methodologies
Ability to iterate on user stories and solutions efficiently and intelligently with significant attention to detail
You have experience in delivering solutions, from concept through to demonstrable output
An appetite for real-time feedback and constructive criticism
You are able to act independently and take initiative but work equally well within a dynamic and fast paced team environment
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You are intellectually curious, see things differently, and challenge the status quo; you are not afraid to ask questions
A willingness to help and share knowledge with other team members
Ability to work both collaboratively in teams and independently while developing meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
Experience in financial services & a bonus if you spend time thinking through how to build a new financial world
Experience with JIRA, MS Office, Tableau
