The Investor Relations Operations Associate is responsible for working closely with the Vice Presidents of Investor Relations and Investor Relations Program Officer to complete a range of duties to support the organization’s fundraising and investor relations initiatives. Work requires that the employee use considerable judgment and creativity in organizing and managing the workflow and assuring that all deadlines are met and administrative activities are coordinated. Duties include management of varied records and file systems and external and internal public contact. Confidentiality is involved. This position is located in the Jackson, Mississippi corporate office.
Essential Duties and Functions
Provide administrative support for members of the Investor Relations department related to proposals, reports, ongoing projects, and weekly team meetings.
Gather and file information for funding proposals, reports, and other documents related to Investor Relations.
Manage, update, and query databases and records regarding funders, investors, prospects, and contributions. This work will primarily be completed using Salesforce.
Conduct and disseminate research regarding institutional and individual funding prospects, grants, loans, and other investment opportunities.
Serve as one point of contact for Socially Responsible share certificates; obtain documentation to initiate, verify, and/or correct investor deposits; and ensure share certificates are recorded and documented properly.
Participate in the planning and coordination of investor-related activities, periodic mailings, depositor campaigns, and special events, including attending marketing events, reviewing campaign letters, compiling and coordinating mail lists.
Provide support for Accounting related to transactions involving the Investor Relations department, including data entry of contributions, grant receipts, financial data, and deposits.
Participate in, initiate, and respond to communications with investors and funders as required, including confirmation, verification of, and/or follow-up on deposits, gifts, and matching gift contributions.
Serve on interdepartmental teams for other special programs and projects.

Preferred Education and Experience
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree required.
At least two years of experience performing the duties described in the Primary and Essential Functions above; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
