Rôle et Responsabilités
Position Summary and Project Details:
As part of the Consumer Television Demand Generation Team, you will support the crafting and execution of the national consumer marketing strategy, including all aspects of marketing communications. Working with agency partners and cross functional teams, you will lead and support projects to achieve financial, in-market, and brand health objectives of the Samsung Television business that leads in market share in both the US and Globally.
This summer you will have the exciting opportunity to work on a project of strategic importance to the TV business. The TV category is fast evolving and the recruitment of younger consumers into the category is of paramount importance. With changing viewing habits in both device and content delivery, the role of TV is different. You will help assess the consumer trends and behaviors of this emerging consumer, to ultimately create a marketing strategy for this consumer segment. You will be expected to work with the DG team, as well as a broad cross-section of stakeholders which will include agency partners, Product Marketing, and Consumer Insights.
General Duties include but are not limited to :
Work with the Consumer Insights group to gather and analyze consumer data and trends
Leverage agencies for market data and analyze media consumption habits
Build a target profile for the strategic segment
Create a marketing strategy that includes positioning, targeting, and communication hierarchy for target segments
Participation and contribution to other existing marketing initiatives and day-to-day activities

Skills and Qualifications
Passion for improving consumer electronics experience and bringing technology to market
Strong communication skills
Attuned to a teamwork environment, fast-paced rhythm, and a results-oriented culture
Strong analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to analyze customer research data, hard data and metrics
High proficiency of Microsoft Office is required with an emphasis on quantitative analysis (Excel) and the creation of presentations (PowerPoint)
Self-starter with desire to learn and contribute
Marketing and/or Consulting experience a plus
Must be enrolled in an accredited University
Proper work authorization
Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
Attend New Hire Orientation on first day
