The Scheduling Manager is responsible for the coordination of client visits, maintenance and upkeep of Managed Care and Internal scheduling records systems, and the accurate and timely communication of scheduling changes between office and field staff. The Scheduling Manager reports directly to the Regional Branch Director, with close guidance and indirect supervision of Corporate Scheduling Supervisor.
Qualifications for the Scheduling Manager:
High school diploma
2 years experience scheduling in homecare environment or high traffic call center / scheduling type position.
Ability to manage internal and external scheduling systems and field staff schedules.
Must possess positive, enthusiastic attitude, good people skills, and professional appearance.
Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
Direct experience in EVV systems a plus
Scheduling Manager Responsibilities:
Assists in taking referrals as needed
Utilize scheduling software provided by managed care organizations to ensure authorized service delivery and compliance
Utilize internal company software programs and spreadsheets to ensure authorized service delivery and compliance
Follow company mandated scheduling calendar to ensure day to day tasks are complete
Communicate client changes or hospitalizations to external care manager and internal team
Attend weekly meetings and calls
Complete weekly reports
Communicate effectively with company staff, client and/or client's family member/POA
Work as backup for call center staff during normal call center or holiday hours as directed by Corporate Scheduling Supervisor by use of rotation system.
Prepares weekly/monthly schedule for field staff.
Assists in coordinating services provided to clients.
Controls and monitors schedule changes.
Brings any scheduling problems to the supervisor's attention immediately.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Administrator.

Works to develop a positive rapport with all staff members and community resources affiliated with home health and non medical care services.
Maintains high visibility and availability while in the office.
Must be able to hear adequately with no more than an amplifier on the phone and to speak in a manner understood by most persons.
Must be able to read and write english as this is a licensure provision
Must be able to Multi-task and use basic computer functions
Must be able to stoop and bend effectively so as to be able to perform the above-listed essential job responsibilities
