Welcome Athletic Trainers!
We are searching for an Athletic Trainer to join our team with Lewis Health Center in Hohenwald, TN that can provide up to $13,000 in relocation assistance for qualified applicants.
Schedule: Full Time – Exempt Employed Trainer
Lewis Health Center is a part of the Maury Regional Health system whose mission is: Clinical Excellence, Compassionate Care, Always.
About this position:
· We only have 1 school system in our county and our ATC has an office at the high school that is about 1 mile from our outpatient PT clinic.
· The sports that are covered include football, baseball/softball, basketball, cheerleading. We have never had wrestling, and this is the first year that our Middle School has had soccer. Currently, our high school does not have soccer.
· The ATC is primarily full-time at the high school covering practices and games. Since we are a small school system, if there is a home Middle School football game the ATC will go to that game if there is not high school practice/game.
· The Athletic Director at the high school and middle school has the ATC contact information and the AD and the ATC have frequent communication.
· There are very few times that the ATC helps as a technician in our outpatient clinic, but there are times during school breaks that the ATC will help in the clinic. Typically, the ATC takes PTO at some point during dead period and school breaks. The ATC helps coordinate the athletic physicals, assists with updating the school emergency plan, gives athletes nutritional education and performs all the SWAY concussion testing for football and basketball. We no longer use the IMPACT system. Documentation is done using Sports Ware.
