The Senior Director of Total Rewards will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer. The position will be responsible for providing leadership, vision, and oversight to the design, development, and implementation of enhancements to the company’s overall benefits, compensation and rewards programs. This role is strategic, analytic, and operational in nature.

The Senior Director is responsible for the design, oversight and administration of all employee compensation and benefits programs. This would include developing the appropriate salary infrastructure and leveling for the organization, salary administration, executive compensation and recognition programs. This role is also responsible for developing, recommending and implementing creative and cost effective new, or modified plans and policies that provide a competitive employee value proposition and are sound business decisions for our company. The Senior Director, will supervise the administration of all plans, propose changes, ensure Regulatory compliance and ensure effective HRIS integration.

The Senior Director will oversee the compensation function; planning, developing and implementing employee and executive compensation programs, establishing programs to support the organization’s goals and competitive practices. The Senior Director ensures data integrity as well as compensation and benefit plan compliance with the company’s policies, procedures and stays abreast of all applicable local, state and federal laws.

The Senior Director of Total Rewards will be a strong advocate and keeper of Healogics culture; will be responsible for building a strategy to strengthen the overall total rewards offering to attract and retain high caliber talent.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar capacity and will have a deep breadth of knowledge in Compensation and Benefits. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically while using data to promote ideas on program design, process improvements and a strong project management background. This individual will have responsibility for upholding the Healogics compensation and benefits philosophy and sustain our high performing culture that attracts, motivates, retains and rewards employees.

The Senior Director must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, and be a supportive team player. He/she must be a driven, creative, resourceful thinker who can collaborate to as a key member of the HR team and management group. Ideally, he/she will have experience in a related healthcare industry. It is critical he/she has held a similar role within a multi-site, growth-oriented company with multiple levels of leadership and complexity. The Senior Director will have stature and credibility in presenting and interacting with all levels of the organization. He/she will thrive operating in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.

Annually analyzes the company benefits and compensation programs, policies, and structures. Recommends and implements changes.

Administers compensation programs, including salary structure adjustments, merit and incentive pay and equity programs, designing, implementing communication strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and other aspects of the compensation program.

Playing a critical role in the due diligence process and comprehensive review of all compensation and benefit plans for new ventures, mergers and acquisitions.

Ensures applicable regulatory and department standards are adhered to on an on-going basis.

Efficiently manages work flow and deadlines, performs short and long term planning, makes policy and program recommendations, and recommends/initiates new approaches, policies and procedures to support continuous improvement.

Consults with internal business partners, including department heads and management, to assess benefits, compensation and compliance needs.

Provides education, mentoring and training to HR staff on processes and professional practices within the total rewards process.

Developing pay banding tiers at all levels within organization using benchmark data and market analysis.

Developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy for compensation and benefit programs and identifying opportunities to better enable the company to improve employee engagement, facilitate proactive and effective messaging and cadence as well as support the company’s growth and strategic plan.

Administers employee benefit programs, including designing and implementing communication strategies and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive employee wellness program, designed to improve employee wellness and safety and address rising medical and workers' compensation costs.

Analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates employee recognition programs.

Analyzes employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, disability, leave of absences, and 401K plans. Recommends and implements changes.

Oversees the management of our benefits vendor relationships, benefits contracts, and bid negotiation.

Required to research and make recommendations on 401K and insurance plans.

Evaluate competitor compensation and benefits packages.

Creating policies and procedures applicable for toward reward programs.

Monitor the payroll interface to ensure compliance and data integrity.

Proactively monitoring all regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., reporting, disclosure, procedures) for compensation and benefits programs (e.g., minimum wage, FLSA, ERISA, PPACA, GINA).

Essential Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years in roles of increasing complexity developing and implementing diverse compensation & benefits plans (Healthcare experience strongly preferred).

5+ years’ experience developing executive and team based compensation plans

CCP, CEBS, or SPHR certification(s) preferred

Expertise in designing compensation and benefits plans, as well as negotiating and administering healthcare and retirement plans

Desired Professional Experiences Includes:
Compensation knowledge including annual and long-term incentive plan design

Knowledge of medical plan offerings including high deductible health plans

Compliance with ACA

Managing annual benefit open enrollments

Design and implementation of wellness programs

Experience in managing benefit plan RFPs and carrier bidding

Knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution plan

Ability to work with senior level executives

Demonstrated understanding of COBRA, FMLA, Worker’s compensation, ERISA, HIPAA, ADA and FLSA and other regulations and compliance

Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong verbal, written and group presentation skills.

Skilled at tracking & analyzing information needed to accomplish financial objectives and recommending appropriate solutions.

Initiates resolution of complex benefits and compensation issues.

Proficiency with issues of compliance for state and federal regulations.

Highly analytical and able to demonstrate composure and flexibility to adapt and respond to priority changes.

Stays current on changing federal and state employee benefits regulations, as well as the shifting needs of an organization’s workforce.

Ability to manage and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Ability to influence and develop relationships with senior management and third parties.

Must be wholly committed to Healogics mission and culture.

Experience in Global (UK) compensation and benefits administrative preferred.

The role is located at Healogics corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. This role would require travel and either relocation to Jacksonville or willingness to commute as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. Master’s in HR or MBA preferred.
