We are searching for a new team member with a technology and or technology audit background to join our small but progressive Internal Audit team! Our new colleague will have demonstrable issue identification, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills that can be applied at the intersection of Putnam’s people, process, and technology.
Putnam is in the midst of a digital transformation including the adoption of emerging technologies and Putnam Internal Audit is actively involved in those efforts. In this role you will work with the IT Audit Leader and will be responsible for verifying that Putnam’s technology related risks are understood and controlled appropriately.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree. Certificates: CIA, CISSP or CISA preferred
- MINIMUM PRIOR RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE TYPICALLY REQUIRED: 3-5 years
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to identify complex business and technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively, orally and in writing, is key to successful performance as a senior auditor. The individual should possess enthusiasm, initiative, sound business judgment, and tact.
- The ability to work effectively with management and staff members in a team environment.
- Proficient in using standard software, such as word and excel, to perform and document work. Experience with audit management software a plus.
- Limited travel to remote company locations is expected and some international travel may be required.
- IT auditing skills or hands on experience in at least one of the following areas: software development & testing; Active Directory; Database Management, AWS Cloud technology; or Cyber Security.
