The administrative assistant provides high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging calls and scheduling meetings.

Essential Functions:

1) Type reports, memos, letters and other documents using Microsoft Word.

2) Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.

3) Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records.

4) File and retrieve documents, records and reports.

5) Must be efficient on a computer; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, typing, etc..

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, and filing cabinets.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree
