Overview
The Sr. Accountant / Analyst is a member of a small team tasked with cash and accounting functions for a property company as well as handling certain family business. The position is responsible for reconciling cash, brokerage and private equity accounts prior to preparing investment reports as well as maintaining other related investment books and records. This role requires direct communication with owners. Providing excellent and detailed customer service is paramount.

Responsibilities

Provide investment reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
Prepare timely and accurate reconciliations across the following investment types: bank accounts, broker accounts, separately managed accounts, hedge funds and other private investments
Maintaining books and records for certain investment entities
Prepare or review cash movements; wires, ACH, and internal transfers
Complete ad hoc projects as needed
Prepare reports, statements, etc. as requested
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required - Accounting preferred
Minimum 4 years of experience
Knowledge of investment types strongly preferred
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Works effectively in a small team environment
Ability to manage various tasks simultaneously
Strong PC skills including Excel and Word
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as necessary to complete assigned tasks
Oracle experience is a plus
