The National Psoriasis Foundation is a dynamic and growing non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Headquartered in Portland, OR, the Foundation is seeking a Marketing Project Coordinator. This position will serve as a project coordinator and provide support for the Marketing & Communications Department’s projects and initiatives. Responsibilities will include building / managing project timelines, monitoring the production process to ensure deadlines are met; tracking project progress and communicating regular updates to stakeholders; inputting, updating, and revising projects within project management software; generating metrics reports; helping to manage special marketing projects; and assisting with other general administrative support activities and tasks. This position also assists with our public relations activities including creating and managing media lists; developing and managing media coverage reports; and providing assistance with local PR for our community events / programs.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field; one plus years of experience in a marketing, communications or project management role; experience working with project management software (e.g. Basecamp); and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate is process oriented and is highly organized with strong attention to detail; and has an understanding of marketing and communications principles and techniques.
