The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Within the PVSI Shared Services team we are seeking a Senior Scrum Master responsible for working with multiple and/or larger scale teams for Agile processes. In this highly visible role, you will act as the Scrum Master for one or more scrum teams focused on the Servicing/Online Banking business sector that is aligned with a specific Value Stream. Your scrum will be working to deliver on multiple projects concurrently. You will help coach your team and help drive them to success. Our scrum teams have to work with tight timelines and support multiple business units, so you’ll be working in a fast-paced, changing environment. You will need to pivot as needed. Candidates should be self-starters, eager to learn and continue to grow and develop professionally, able to multi-task, work extremely well under tight deadlines, and be comfortable working with large, multi-disciplined technology and business teams.
6+ years of experience as a practicing Scrum Master
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Other Desired Qualifications
Agile Scrum (CSM), SAFE certifications or other advanced Agile certifications
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
Promote Agile best practices and lead and support the development of Agile culture
Experience moving teams and organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and Agile Transformations
Ability to manage large complex cross-matrix organization that includes: multiple business, technology and risk disciplines with direct leadership; the development of the strategy for information security; and implementation of roadmaps for the Enterprise
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to partner with Product Owners and Project Managers to ensure releases are successful
Proficient in Jira and managing Jira boards.
Demonstrated ability to provide charts and articulate metrics in regards to Scrum performance
Previous Agile team coaching experience would be beneficial
Ability to be flexible and adaptable and tailor Agile approach to the organizational culture
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
Prior digital experience would be beneficial
