What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is currently looking for a wide range of ship repair and modernization professionals in anticipation of a contract award supporting the US Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. An important mission of the US Navy is to “Build Partner Capacity” among allies around the globe. In doing so, the US Navy and the US Coast Guard transfer many new and retired maritime vessels to partner nations. This requires significant assistance from private industry in both the transfer process and in the lifecycle sustainment support of those vessels once they arrive in country.
If successful with the contract award, CACI intends to hire a wide spectrum of ship repair & modernization professionals, as well as shipboard operators & trainers. The work will necessitate Full Time, Part Time, and Part Time on Call positions. The Program Office will be based out of the DC metro area, but there will also be a need for professionals to work in Norfolk, VA. Some positions will have flexibility to work remotely. There will also be requirements for long term OCONUS work in Egypt and Iraq as well as short term assignments around the globe.
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who have experience working on US Navy FFG 7’s, MHC’s, MCM’s, PC’s, T-ATF’s, Amphibious & Auxiliaries; USCG 378’ Hamilton Class Cutters, 110’ Island Class Cutters, and smaller patrol boats; US built Patrol Boats; and Foreign built vessels. FMS experience is desirable, but not mandatory for all positions.
We will be adding a Warehouse Manager to our team in either Norfolk, VA or Washington DC.
More About the Role:
In this role you'll need 4 years of logistics management experience in a warehouse environment. You will receive, consolidate, and issue all required ship’s outfitting and materials to support Consolidated Shipboard Allowance Listing (COSAL), Coordinated Shore Material Allowance List (COSMAL), Authorized Medical Allowance List (AMAL), General Use Consumable List (GUCL), etc. You will be responsible for maintaining valid inventory records of all warehoused materials and conduct routine and wall to wall inventories as scheduled.
You'll also perform receipt, acceptance and inspection of materials from their suppliers with proper documentation, report and record all discrepancies identified during receipt inspections, inventories or routine work.
You and your team will provide proper handling, packaging, forwarding and transportation of materials at contractor and government staging areas.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
AA/AS degree is required or 6 years of military warehousing experience in lieu of degree.
