Clearlink is looking for a Data Analyst to assist the Digital PR team in the production of data-centric, promotional content pieces. This role sits right at the intersection of data science, digital PR, and brand journalism. With the help of a Digital PR Specialist, you will be responsible for ideating, researching, compiling, organizing, and making sense of data, which will then be used to create public interest pieces. These data visualizations (infographics, maps, interactive graphics, etc.) will be pitched to journalists and publications in varying industries with the end goal of driving organic traffic, referral traffic, and brand awareness for any given web property.
You will be expected to utilize our own proprietary data as well as scrape, submit records requests, or compile data sets from scratch to help the copywriters and Digital PR Specialists tell clear, compelling visual stories about a wide range of topics. As part of our own proprietary data stack, we have household information across nearly the entire US population, with demographics, lifestyle, life stage, and various other interesting pieces to arm you with pulling together compelling and high-interest statistics on the US population.
If you think you can transform raw data sets into compelling stories and help designers create meaningful visual illustrations to accompany those stories, this is the job for you!
Our ideal candidate loves data and is able to coherently “speak data” to others. In addition, he/she has a strong sense of what it takes to use data to create viral, newsworthy content. To be successful in the role, you must be passionately curious, equal parts creative and analytical, resourceful, and self-motivated.
