We are seeking a hardworking and determined Electrical Engineer to join our team as an intern for the 2019 Summer. Co-op or Summer Internship Electrical engineering positions at Chevron Phillips provide opportunities for Electrical engineering students to gain experience in the "real world" work environment of manufacturing facilities. Electrical Engineering students are typically assigned a mentor who will direct their summer or co-op work experience. Work or project assignments will be commensurate with the student's academic background to take advantage of their technical expertise and provide real life application of their classroom knowledge. At the same time, opportunities will be provided for students to expand their knowledge outside the boundaries of their classroom experiences.
18 years of age or older
Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not now or in the future require sponsorship by the employer
Possess or currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
Available to work a minimum of eight continuous weeks
Must be willing to work in any of our operating locations
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Possess internship or equivalent experience in a related Electrical Engineering job
