Provide subject matter expertise in the development, maintenance, and support of an enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts
Troubleshoot and tune existing data warehouse applications
Conduct research into new data warehouse applications and determine viability for adoption
Establish development standards
Evaluate existing subject areas stored in data warehouse
Determine business information needs
Identify system requirements
Analyze business intelligence data and provide reports
Provide subject matter expertise in data warehouse programming to include performing warehouse design, construction, codes, document scripts, and store procedures
Design and implement data strategy methods
Develop appropriate programs and systems documentation
Manage metadata repository
Prepare and implement data verification
Test methods for data warehouse
Create index and viewing scripts
Provide design, administration and development for the Federated Data Warehouses and Cross business repositories and Data Analytics platform built as part of Digital transformation. Provide data integration, reconciliations and process improvement for data software products.
Build and manage master and reference data management architecture for digital transformation
Build and integrate a data-driven intelligent solution into our business processes. Manage the innovation development processes and be responsible for driving the data architecture for the company's products and IT processes.
Ensure the quality, completeness, security, privacy, and integrity of data throughout the data lifecycle
Providing proactive technical oversight and advice to application architecture and development teams fostering re-use, design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency of data/analytical solutions
Create maintainable, scalable “Extract, Transform, and Load” (ETL) code to load and manipulate data in the data warehouse.
Develop deep understanding of data sources, granularity, availability, and limitations. Integrate with BP’s data architecture experts and IT, ensure new technologies and best practices are employed.
Provide appropriate training, mentoring and support for Data Architecture tools to the analysts and business users. Facilitate communication upward and across project teams.
Analyze business data requirements to produce relevant ETL and data architecture deliverables (source analysis, source to target maps, ETL flows)
Participate throughout the entire project life cycle to ensure conformance to design, overall data warehouse architectural compliance and infrastructure coordination and preparation
Work with ETL and Data Architects to ensure the various architectures align with the BI/DW strategy and conform to the solution requirements
Manage all aspects of infrastructure requirements, planning and implementation
Coordinate and participate in system and performance testing
Act as ETL or Data Architect or ETL Developer when required
General consulting skills, including: team facilitation, business case development, etc
Ensure reporting system is secure and reliable to deliver consistent and timely results
Support the successful execution of recurring scheduled reports
Implement and manage version control within the reporting subsystems
Produce new builds and deployments upon completion of development tasks

Education: BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems or Computer Science.
Ten (10) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Five (5) years of technical experience in support of information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects.
7+years’ Application Development/Engineering experience across a diverse technology base. Demonstrated understanding and successful application of proven database design principles such as: requirements analysis, data normalization, data modeling, risk management and quality assurance and for both On-line Transaction Processing (OLTP) and On-line Analytical Processes (OLAP) database systems.
7+years’ experience with Microsoft ETL and business intelligence technologies including but not limited to SQL Server database, SSIS SSRS and SSAS
5+years’ experience with relational databases (SQL server, Oracle), star schemas, exposure to NoSQL database technologies, Big Data Platforms like Hadoop or Cloud services like HDInsight and AWS Redshift
Strong direct Data Modeling experience using Relational, Dimensional and other approaches related to NoSQL databases.
2+years’ experience with Azure and/or AWS
Platform, tools and technologies: Must have experience with AWS Redshift, Teradata, Oracle, MS-SQL, ETL, Informatica
U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates selected must be able to successfully pass a client background investigation.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance or currently have an Active Secret Clearance
