We are seeking motivated and engaging individuals to represent our client’s popular robotic vacuum products within well-known home furnishings and consumer electronics retailers. As an iRobot Specialist, you will provide fun and relevant demonstrations to increase brand awareness and help close the sale. You play a critical role in creating the best customer experience in the industry through best-in-class support. You will report directly to a BDS Regional Manager.
This is a part-time opportunity working 5-hour shifts each Saturday and Sunday from November 2nd through end of 2024. We provide paid, in-depth virtual training to set you up for success in this role. Motivational contests and incentives will take place throughout this program, and employees that complete all agreed-upon shifts will be able to keep a robot!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Deliver excellent sales/customer service as you proactively greet, educate, and engage customers on our client’s robotic vacuums and, ultimately, close the sale
- Deliver product demonstrations that are relevant and memorable to increase sales and brand advocacy
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with store associates and management as a trusted ally and brand representative
- Remain engaging, approachable, confident, and persuasive in any setting
- Work within defined procedures to successfully execute all assigned activities
- Share observations, concerns, and potential solutions for what works and what can be improved, and reports results daily
- Complete required reporting at the end of each shift while on site, including uploading photos of demo set up utilizing
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma, some college education preferred
- 1 year of retail sales and/or training/demonstrating experience
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Skills and Attributes:
- Previous sales and/or demonstration experience – consumer electronics, vacuum experience a plus!
- Ability to understand, retain and articulate product details in an ongoing, enthusiastic and confident manner with the ability to easily connect with customers and store staff
- Proven history of closing sales and exceeding goals
- Ability to connect easily with others, share information, and develop relationships with store associates
- Complete online reports accurately and promptly
- Must have reliable transportation
- Engaging and impactful presentation skills
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to complete all required training within established timelines
- Ability to complete all scheduled shifts, including clocking in/out as per given guidelines
- Minimal travel to local retail locations
