The Department of Computer Science at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, a Catholic and Marianist university, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant/associate/full professor position in the Department of Computer Science beginning in the Spring or Fall of 2025. St. Mary's University is designated by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD).
The candidate should have the ability to teach a breadth of introductory computer science such as programming, computer architecture, and systems analysis and design along with advanced undergraduate and graduate courses within the area of specialization. The Department seeks faculty candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

This position requires a Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related discipline and a commitment to excellence in teaching, advising, research, program development and evaluation, teamwork, and service. Candidates should display exemplary communication skills and be able to relate to today's learners. ABD candidates will be considered.
