DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Senior Accountant to support corporate headquarters in Bethesda, MD.
The Lead Accounting Analyst works within the Accounting Shared Services team. Their primary responsibility is supporting the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Department. The Senior Accountant will play an integral role in the accounting function within our Finance department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports the daily, weekly and monthly deliverables for the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments.
Generates and submits invoices and support collections efforts.
Must be able to analyze billing and accounts payable issues and work with Project Managers, Accounts Payable and the Billing team to resolve the issues.
Must be able to back up other team members for AP re-classes, weekly check run process, verify federal id numbers, issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
Costpoint Vendor setup and issue 1099’s
Ad hoc support to audits.
Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and 8-10 years minimum work experience
Costpoint 7.1 experience
Recent Costpoint project set-up experience
Prior experience with Costpoint Project Setup and/or Billing modules is preferred
Government Contract Accounting/Finance work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
Min. Citizenship Status Required: U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder
