Responsibilities
- Assist with the care and feeding of livestock, including horses and other farm animals
- All responsibilities pertaining to maintaining a registered cow herd, and backgrounding operation
-Marketing breeding bulls and beef
-Feeding, calving, maintaining detailed records
-Doctoring, processing, cattle care etc...
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Perform general ranch maintenance tasks such as repairing fences, maintaining pastures, etc...
- Handle basic hand tools for various ranch activities
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
-light welding and repair work
Experience
- Experience in farm work, animal husbandry, or equine care is preferred
- Proficiency in handling animals with care and compassion
- Basic math skills for measuring feed portions and medication dosages
- Ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with farm machinery operation is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
