Malick & Scherer, P.C. (M&S), a multi-disciplined engineering and land surveying firm specializing in the transportation infrastructure industry, has immediate opening available for the following position:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Marketing Manager/Proposal Coordinator in the growing marketing department of our Hampton, NJ office. The focus of this position will be to oversee the marketing team who will work with project managers to develop winning proposals for municipal, state, and private clients for our civil engineering, construction inspection, and land survey teams.


  • Research and compile information from databases in preparation for team meetings to decide which upcoming proposals the team will prepare and submit
  • Attend pre-proposal conferences when required
  • Organize kick-off meetings
  • Coordinate with project management and proposal support teams
  • Identify and prioritize RFP requirements, task responsibilities, develop schedules and priorities for each proposal, review all work product
  • Assist with technical writing and provide editing support
  • Participate in and organize team training and information sharing
  • Perform quality control review and compliance checks throughout the proposal process to safeguard internal quality control
  • Ensure completion of tasks and meeting deadlines

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing, or comparable professional experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the planning, development, and production of proposals for the engineering, land surveying, and construction industry
  • Familiarity governmental proposal submissions, particularly NYDOT, NYDDC
  • Reliable professional writing and editing skills
  • Must be adaptable to working independently and as part of a team
