Health Care Operations Internship
This internship requires a driven individual who is focused on building relationships, persistence and anticipating the needs of the team, all while learning numerous elements of health care operations and essential aspects of the patient experience.
Role: To support Privia Medical Group North Texas Patient Experience Project and the Patient Experience Consultant.
Purpose: To contribute to the performance team in a wide variety of tasks such as assistance with internal marketing, social media, meeting coordination and preparation, classroom training, creation and auditing of survey reports and event planning.
A student in need to internship credits/hours or industry experience
Desire to learn, positive attitude, deadline driven
Ability to understand and connect with people to anticipate needs
Experience collaborating in a team environment with the ability to work independently as a self starter
An empathetic heart for patients and those who serve them
Ability to support multiple projects with varying priority
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken with high functioning organizational skills
Interest in understanding and interpretation of survey results
Experience with data science, spreadsheets and report creation
Creativity and internal marketing knowledge
Essential Job Functions:
Aid in the creation of meeting agendas, minutes, presentations and training materials as needed
Facilitate production of social media content, postings and site administration
Creation and auditing of monthly reports and patient comment reviews
Assist with teaching the Patient Experience course
Help with event coordination both corporate and care center level
Portal database administration support
