Chief Technology Office Enterprise Application Hosting Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Systems Support Consultant 6 position. In this role, the candidate is a liaison between owning technology CIO teams, EAHS Engineering (Middleware, PaaS, Observability) and peer teams across Information & Cyber Security (ICS) & Information Technology (IT). An ideal candidate must understand business processes and requirements, and then provide consulting and solutions design to reduce risk, and increase performance and stability across the enterprise. A senior systems support consultant will apply qualifications, years of experience, and depth and breadth of knowledge to provide solutions for Technologies that are engineered within EAHS. This includes creation of policy, engineering designs, risk evaluation, etc.
Additional responsibilities include:
Advanced application support for the resolution of highly complex technical problems
Directing large-scale projects and application implementations from proof of concept through testing and installation.
Statistics gathering and analysis to assist architecture engineering and development teams in determining capacity planning requirements to support projected transaction volumes, response times, and system availability targets
Collaborating with enterprise partners on issues and initiatives that impact the infrastructure
Provide training and direction to less experienced web support engineers and staff
7+ years of systems support analysis experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of information security management, audit, compliance, and risk
Knowledge and understanding of technology servers or systems that support/host web applications
Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience working on Middleware Products, Cloud Technologies and Monitoring and Logging Products.
