This position is responsible for sustained sales growth specifically in vocational markets.
Vocational Sales Manager job description:
- Manage a team of dedicated vocational truck sales professionals.
- Build and strengthen relationships with body and equipment upfitters.
- Maintain superior knowledge of vocational applications and Peterbilt trucks.
- Lead by example on customer calls and assist the sales team with presenting and closing orders.
- Seek new vocational opportunities.
- Hire and train new salespeople to become vocational experts.
Vocational Sales Manager Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong work ethic with excellent self-discipline and time management skills.
- Exceptional mechanical skills with the ability to learn quickly.
- Extensive knowledge of vocational trucks is a must.
- Customer relations experience within the Trucking Industry or a related industry.
- Exceptional Customer Service Orientation.
- A desire for high earning potential.
- A record of success in past sales positions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Some travel is required.
- Commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain one preferred.
