Interested in serving on an Executive Leadership Committee? Passionate about endurance sports? Looking for ways to volunteer and give back to your community?

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Texas Gulf Coast Chapter is looking for passionate and dedicated volunteer committee members to help grow and support our endurance sport fundraising campaign, Team In Training (TNT). TNT raised more than $450,000 in TX GC this year, and the program has raised over $1B nationally for blood cancer research since its inception in 1988.

As a member of the Team In Training Executive Leadership Committee your involvement will drive essential dollars that fuel our mission to cure blood cancer and improve the lives of patients and their families. You will play a vital role in acquiring new strategic partners within the community as both teammates and corporate teams. ELC Volunteers have an immeasurable impact towards the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with Team In Training by identifying new opportunities for growth and development in the community.

Position Expectations:

Personal -

  • Be familiar with and participate in TNT's portfolio events (run/walk/cycle/hike)
  • Recruit executive committee members
  • Lead committee to exceed annual corporate recruitment goals
  • Personal $5K+ fundraising goal
  • Make a meaningful personal gift

Company -

  • Recruit fundraising team within corporation
  • Lead company’s team fundraising efforts with a goal of $10K+

Community -

  • Bring a minimum of 3-5 new corporate fundraising team leads with the capacity to raise $10k+ each

Time Commitment -

  • January to December of Calendar year.
  • Must be able to attend 4-6 Committee Meetings in calendar year via WebEx or in person.
