Job Description
Analyze and communicate tactical and financial outcomes of the company and recommend course correction as needed
Provide financial and analytical support to key strategic company initiatives
Oversee and insight the preparation of the long-term (3-5 year) financial plan, annual budget, annual capital plan, and weekly forecast update.
Oversee and prioritize merchandising and operational analysis, including data science, which drives assortment decisions, pricing decisions, promotion decision
Guide and support Visual Merchandising leadership
Oversee and support the Master Data Management Center of Excellence (COE) in achieving and maintaining a clean data environment
Guide and support the DOMO team in developing and delivering insights to the broad organization
Guide and support Site Research
Ad Hoc Analysis
Develop industry knowledge and partnerships to stay on top of trends and support store teams
Formal Policy Setting - Responsibilities

Sets policies for department or division
Knowledge or Information Required

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office; complex Excel model building and valuation analysis
Functional proficiency with data tools used for analysis, including PeopleSoft (financials) BI (business intelligence data), pricing system, data visualization tool
Familiarity with analytical tools, including Alteryx and DOMO
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP), financial metrics
Skills and Abilities Required

Ability to lead and develop team of professionals, and consistently motivate and align them with the most important objectives of the company
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to assimilate large amounts of data and complexity rapidly to provide actionable insights
Ability to manage and prioritize large and dynamic workload for multiple teams
Ability to effectively communicate with Sr. leadership, colleagues, and reports, including excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creativity and problem solving skills, including strategic agility; ability to see ahead clearly and anticipate future trends
Required Education

Graduate level education

Other Requirements: CPA/CFA, Cert. of FPA or data analysis credentials preferred

Minimum years of experience: 8 years or more
