Position Overview
The Continuing Education (CE) Lead is a remote position working within the CE department and reporting to the VP of Medical Education in CME Grants & Compliance. This role is essential in supporting the department’s provider review, proposal development, grant submission, and reporting processes. The Continuing Education (CE) Lead collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure department timelines are met, materials are approved, and necessary guidelines and policies are followed. We are seeking a candidate with strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, capable of working independently and with diverse teams.
Core Responsibilities
Application Processes:
- Assist with selected accredited provider application processes.
- Follow up with program managers to ensure proper execution of the CE material approval process with selected accredited providers.
Program Management:
- Assist with maintaining program spreadsheets, including schedules and provider/program manager comments.
- Review program materials to ensure required provider edits are addressed and CE/CME information is properly listed.
- Oversee disclosure forms from a CE standpoint, review for completion, and follow up with program managers for additional information if required.
- Retrieve and send out evaluation/certification data to accredited providers.
Research and Proposal Development:
- Research requests for proposal/call for grant opportunities.
- Update and maintain supporter grant timelines and submission information.
Grant Submissions:
- Assist with obtaining and maintaining accredited provider login information for submissions and reconciliation.
- Complete grant submissions and follow up on outstanding decisions as needed.
Reporting and Presentation Development:
- Develop PowerPoint presentations for reporting as needed.
- Assist program managers and finance with outcomes-related tasks during the reconciliation process.
- Oversee the webcast tracker for internal online programs.
- Ensure all required program information is captured for the reporting process to begin.
Guideline and Policy Adherence:
- Stay informed of necessary guidelines and policies (e.g., ACCME).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in continuing medical education preferred.
- Knowledge of CE programming and accreditation criteria and standards (e.g., ACCME).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills (organizing and planning, coordinating with stakeholders, meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving, multitasking, and self-motivation in a remote work environment)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required, including the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to create a daily routine.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
