This person will ensure production goals and assigned projects are completed on time, safely, accurately and efficiently. Cross training in all areas of Production and Warehouse is a must. Expect detailed training to achieve mastery of our procedures. There is a family dynamic at Airmax that extends to the customer as we strive to give them the highest quality service possible and that quality service starts with our products.
Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include.
Meet production goals safely with quality and efficiency
Perform mechanical and electrical duties not limited to but including control panel wiring, light assembly, quality testing and standard warehouse functions
Function with a minimal amount of supervision and lead other production staff to accomplish goals
Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled per assigned department
Use all hand/power tools and other production machines/equipment in a safe manor
Perform light equipment maintenance
Continuously look for preventative maintenance and continuous improvement actions
Train other employees on how to use equipment and perform simple tasks
Crosstrain into ALL areas of Production and Warehouse
Maintain a clean work environment
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:
3+ years of experience in an assembly or repair environment
Basic mechanical skills a must, electrical knowledge a plus
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to follow procedures methodically
Basic computer skills and communication via email required
Position involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs and managing packages up to 150 lbs in addition to manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work
We need a Skilled Technician employee that has a positive attitude and the words can't and impossible are not a part of your vocabulary. You'll have the ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment to complete established procedures.
You must be available to work between the hours of 6am and 6pm Monday – Friday and some Saturdays. 40-50 hrs/week.
This position pays $16-20 per hour based on experience. This is a full-time position with benefits. Benefits include:
