CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
The primary functions of this position include the development and maintenance of financial controls to ensure integrity of product costs and financials. This includes the accurate development of the Brand/SKU comparison reports and distribution to the selling organizations for two to three sites internationally either in LATAM, UK or Sweden..
The main responsibilities of this position are:
Development of annual standard costs for all raw materials, GOM, and purchased Finished Goods.
Development of the quarterly material standard cost update for all raw materials, GOM, and purchased Finished Goods.
Development of costs for new product adds.
Month-end responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Raw material and finished good revaluation analysis and amortization
Purchase price variance analysis and amortization
Operational variance analysis and absorption analysis.
Analysis of actual results vs. budget and forecast
Close inventory and costing periods in Oracle
Freeze costs for the applicable sites.
Daily Responsibilities include:
Run Oracle cost process (OPM) and resolve errors on a daily basis
Monitor and communicate errors in the Oracle create accounting jobs
This position will require interaction with Merchandise Control, Global Procurement, and Local Plant Accounting personnel.
Bachelors - Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a focus in Finance or Accounting
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- 3-4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with Standard Cost development.
- Experience with Oracle ERP (OPM and/or Financial), OBIEE
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
- Experience with Hyperion and/or EPM
- Standard Cost methodology
- Experience with developing reporting and monthly variance Accounting
- Experience with OBIEE report development
- Oracle ERP working knowledge
