College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Department of Clinical Health Professions, DPT Program
This is a tenure-track position. The newly established entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy program is now accepting applications for 4 full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor positions. Primary teaching responsibilities include neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary/vascular, or integumentary system content. Additional teaching responsibilities are possible in areas of clinical or academic expertise. All department faculty participate in department, college and university service, and scholarly activity.
Candidates should hold an earned academic doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., D.Sc.) or a DPT with Board Certification in PT (OCS, NCS, PCS, etc.),
Candidates must be a currently licensed physical therapist in any United States jurisdiction and eligible for NY State licensure,
Candidates must have minimum 3-years of experience as a Clinical Instructor,
Prior teaching, research, and scholarly activity in a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy academic program is preferred,
