Partners with local management team to lead the administration of policies and programs covering all aspects of human resources. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training & development, employee engagement, legal and compliance issues. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate a high level of integrity, a strong depth of HR knowledge, high sense of urgency, and a pro-active approach to customer service.


Partners with the business to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to drive continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.

Provide training, education and counseling to the workforce on HR practices, policies and guidelines including programs such as new hire orientation, performance management programs, compensation philosophy, career planning, behavioral interviewing, and other critical HR topics.
Coach leaders in employee performance issues to include the progressive correction action process.
Conducts investigations and recommends solutions regarding employee concerns related to work environment and claims of harassment and discrimination.
Provides guidance and support to supervisors in all tasks related to performance management. Assists supervisors in selecting and carrying out appropriate methods for correcting performance deficiencies.
Assist with implementation and maintenance of human resources policies and procedures while ensuring compliance to all local and federal laws.
Develop and maintain a positive, productive relationship with the local leadership team.
Develop programs that increase employees’ skills, strengthen their leadership ability, and provide career counseling.
Manage communication to support positive employee relations.
Coordinate service delivery of overall benefit programs. This includes responding to and resolving employee/management questions or issues with benefit offerings. Assist workforce with daily benefit problem resolution.
Ensure maintenance of records of complete employment life cycle.
Ensure alignment of all local policies and practices with the guidelines provided by the corporate Human Resources department.
Prepare employee separation notices with related documentation, conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations and respond to unemployment filings and appeals

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related discipline required.
PHR/SPHR preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of solid Human Resource generalist experience required.
Solid knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws.
Ability to position self as credible (garners respect, acts with integrity, keeps commitments); pro-active (has a point of view, challenges assumptions, takes initiative); and a trusted thought-partner (builds relationships, delivers results).
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships in order to drive company strategy and efficient methods.
Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks and removing obstacles.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex sets of data and make business recommendations based on analysis.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and in a variety of cultures.
Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion.
Working knowledge of HRIS Systems, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
