IT Analyst
Located in Paragould, Arkansas, Axis is a state of the art railcar axle manufacturing facility with operations starting in 2009. Axis, a joint venture of parent companies Amsted Rail of Chicago, Illinois and Greenbrier Companies of Portland, Oregon, produces railcar axles for the worldwide market through a highly automated process of forging, heat treating, and machining.
Axis is seeking an IT Analyst for full-time employment at our manufacturing facility in Paragould, Arkansas. This position offers the opportunity to be a key leader in a fast-paced, technology-rich manufacturing setting.
Job Description:
- Part of the Axis Manufacturing Services Group, you will work on-site alongside software developer and controls engineer and will be responsible for maintaining operations of all technology systems plant-wide; including desktop support, server and network infrastructure, SQL database reports, interfaces with automated robotic manufacturing equipment, and support of custom application software.
Job responsibilities include:
- MES System Management
- Support and stabilization of custom Wonderware MES track and trace system
- Day to day support of operational activities
- Maintain data integrity for electronic part tracking
- SSRS Report definition and programming
- Local IT Support Contact for Corporate Shared Services
- Support of local systems & users; assist corporate IT Shared Services
- Server management
- Network management
- Desktop and Notebook PC hardware and software support
- Management of Technology
- Hardware (printers, VoIP phones, barcode scanners)
- Software/systems (Office 365, Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, Duo)
- Perform other related duties as required
Technologies / Qualifications Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent in education and experience
- Windows and networking knowledge and experience
- MS SQL Server queries
- Attention to detail
- Ability to find causes and solutions for difficult problems
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills to allow productive collaborative relationships with customers, vendors, operations, mechanical and technical personnel
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a results-oriented, challenging environment
