What You'll Do
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote the acquisition of new members and the credit union's products and services. This role involves development and management of paid search campaigns, SEO and SEM to enhance brand awareness within the digital space, driving website traffic, and acquiring leads/members. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure that all digital marketing efforts align with the credit union's overall business objectives.
Where you will have an impact
- Create, manage, and report on the deployment of marketing content and campaigns in various digital channels such as network display, banner and tile, PPC, retargeting ads, social media, email marketing, and co-marketing on third party vendor sites
- Create and deliver integrated marketing programs and strategies to increase membership. Leverage data and insights to analyze the efficacy of campaigns to refine existing strategies to drive campaign performance.
- Monitor performance of online products and services and analyze Web site statistical data to understand online user’s behavior and identify trends.
- Track and analyze promotional, email, online and mobile activities to evaluate existing member usage as well as potential online markets.
- Review analytics of eCommerce product performance to assess online and mobile penetration by member, by product segment, and identify opportunities to continuously improve penetration.
- Use analytical data to recognize user patterns and trends to help formulate objectives marketing campaigns. Identify opportunities to grow our online channel and present marketing ideas to management.
- Manage and optimize the credit union’s website & social media profiles to improve user experience.
- Functions as Administrator for company’s internal portal. Assists with search engine optimization initiatives. Writes content for and respond to posts on various sites such as Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other social media/networking sites.
- Track channel usage for all eMarketing initiatives using tools such as Google Analytics. Maintains internet and email statistics for web visits, read rates, subscription changes, etc. to report to management.
- Analyzes market trends and demographic data concerning customers and potential members. Provide detailed reporting relating to inbound marketing activities
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
Qualifications and Skills required
- Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
- Two to four years work experience digital media; planning, development, search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (PPC), display media, social media and shopping or partnership feeds.
- High level of proficiency in Internet marketing concepts & practices, including the ability to conceptualize user navigation/flow through new online services.
- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising. Strong skills in creating engaging content for various digital platforms.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media management tools.
- Must possess knowledge of analytics and user experience, website management, and direct mail required. Be knowledgeable in research analysis, Internet environment, survey methods, regulatory compliance, and current business and marketing trends.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Thorough understanding of Internet environments and web site development. Exceptional knowledge of the English language is particularly important.
- Ability to speak and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, customers and managers.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to others.
