What you’ll be doing...
As a member of our Data Science team, you’ll focus on the digital space, understanding customer behavior as they travel through various channels and work on customer journey analytics along with digital-focused analytics.
You’ll develop and implement new digital strategies that include intelligent machines which will use self-learning algorithms to learn from data and experiences to detect path analysis at scale, reveal automated anomaly detection, and recommend proactive analysis.
You will work on Advanced Analytics using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cognitive, Big Data and Data Warehousing platforms.
Other responsibilities associated with the position include:
Researching, designing, implementing, and overseeing high-end analytical/technology processes and solutions, focusing on leveraging machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cognitive methods.
Working with the business to understand the requirements of digital challenges, machine and cognitive analysis, and communicating back the results.
Building analytical solutions and models by manipulating large data sets and integrating diverse data sources.
Performing ad-hoc analyses and developing reproducible analytical approaches to meet business requirements.
Performing exploratory and targeted data analyses using descriptive statistics and other methods.
Applying machine learning and statistical techniques to large data sets to find actionable insights.
Using complex algorithms to develop systems and applications that deliver business functions or architectural components.
Communicating the business value of technical solutions.
Discovering mutually beneficial solutions across customers while recognizing different styles.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Hadoop, Data Warehousing, and Teradata SQL.
Experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, and Scala).
Experience with distributed computing tools (e.g., Spark, Hive, Tez/Map-reduce framework).
Even better if you have…
Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics.
Master’s Degree in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
Experience in ad-hoc analysis and developing reproducible analytical approaches to meet business requirements.
Experience applying statistical techniques to large data sets to find actionable insights.
The ability to package analysis in clear and concise reports and presentations.
Excellent communication skills.
