Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Assist with human capital management activities, such as performance management and employee development
- Support succession planning efforts by identifying high-potential employees and creating development plans
- Utilize HR software to manage employee information and generate reports
- Draft, review, and maintain employment contracts and other HR-related documents
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs to employees
- Responsible for talent management initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with payroll department to ensure accurate processing of employee data
-Assist with WEDCO District Board meetings by preparing board packets and taking minutes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience in HR administration or related role
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration processes and regulations
- Familiarity with human capital management principles and practices
- Proficiency preferred in using HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) for data management and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skill
- Ability to pivot and multi-task

Pay: $19.15 - $23.81 per hour
