The Digital Media Specialist will play a key role in developing and managing paid digital media across a wide variety of channels and optimizing for performance based on clearly defined KPIs.
This position will report to the Media Director, and will support all facets (strategy, reporting, analytics, testing, creative requests, etc) across all paid digital media properties including Paid Search, Display, Social, Video, and Mobile. This role will also work closely with internal colleagues (mainly the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager) on email campaigns managed in-house and CRM efforts. Furthermore, this person will serve as the primary contact for our digital agency partner.
To be successful as our Digital Media Specialist, the candidate should have proven experience working with all forms of digital media and the ability to support and drive new strategies, analyze results, and optimize paid campaigns. This role must be willing to take the lead in driving Direct Response and Brand media, agency performance, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and a self-motivated multi-tasker. Direct Response advertising experience on the agency, vendor, or client side is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with media, creative, and web teams on Brand and Direct Response campaigns
Lead the strategy and execution of Paid Search, Display, Social and Video campaigns
Coordinate on-going email and CRM campaigns to current customers and prospects
Develop testing strategy across all Digital channels to continually optimize performance
Analyze campaign results, deliver findings and recommendations for future initiatives
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our agency partners, vendors, and the internal team
Work with all departments to ensure campaigns launch on time, and are executed properly
Lead the creative request process (write creative briefs, maintain a schedule to introduce new concepts across display, social, video etc, work with creative manager to ensure designers hit deadlines of asset delivery, and align with desired campaign look and feel)
Review and approve Paid Search copy based on a deep knowledge of search best practices and testing methodologies
Collaborate with agency and creative teams to manage assets for quarterly promotions
Responsible for seeking out emerging media opportunities to most effectively use creative and digital media dollars to the greatest benefit for our business
Remain up-to-date on industry and advertising trends

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field strongly preferred
Ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in digital media planning and/or buying experience
Demonstrate ability to think analytically, solve problems, make decisions and use sound judgment
Experience working with vendors, agencies, etc
Strong knowledge of Paid Search, Shopping, Social, Display, Programmatic platforms, Email, Video strategy and tactics
Strong experience or knowledge of Direct Response media reporting and analytics
Proficient in web reporting platforms (DCM, Adwords, etc) is a plus
Adept in the digital marketing industry, trends and new developments
Ability to multi-task in a high volume work environment and meet multiple deadlines
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills
A self-starter with strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work and stay connected with various internal and external cross-functional teams
Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Some travel will be required for industry trade shows and to meet with agency vendors
