Empowered Hospitality is a rapidly growing HR consulting firm with a focus in the hospitality industry. We believe that when it comes to any company's long-term success, people are the secret ingredient. We deliver expert, thoughtful and high-touch HR support to help small businesses harness their people power!

We are looking for dynamic, driven HR Directors to join our growing team! Our Directors oversee 3-6 client relationships, acting as the face of HR for each team, manage communication and project critical paths, and harness the skill set of the E|H team for support as needed.

What an E|H Director does:
Act as our client’s HR Director, including on-site time spent with their team and remote support. About 60% of your week will be spent visiting clients around New York City.
Oversee compliance audits in multiple areas including employee documents, handbook, payroll, and benefits as part of our client onboarding process.
Support client leaders to build a culture of HR within their team, including leadership coaching, HR trainings, and assistance with employee relations.
Tap into E|H’s Associates, Consultants and Managing Directors to support the client’s needs
Contribute to E|H’s internal learning and development through sharing knowledge, mentoring and coaching teammates, and continually pursuing your own learning.

What you bring to E|H:
At least five years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
Expertise in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Deep expertise in one particular HR discipline, e.g. benefits, recruiting, hospitality wage order, immigration
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Desire to operate autonomously in a startup environment
Strong ability to think critically, conduct research, and develop systems to better serve our clients
