Innocean is a full-service advertising agency on the beach in sunny Huntington Beach, CA. We are looking for a friendly,

high-energy, extremely organized, HR Generalist to join our team.

We need an HR Generalist who can handle multiple tasks and projects at once. This is a very fast paced, ever-changing work environment, so someone who thrives under pressure would love it here! The HR Generalist needs to be a strong communicator and an even better listener. They play a key role in keeping everything and everyone on track while supporting Admin, Finance, HR and IT.

Coordinate the day-to-day employee operations such as supporting new employee orientations and exit process, processing paperwork with payroll/benefits, maintaining employee records, employee files and employee data, and processing employee status changes (new hires, transfers, change status and terminations).
Regularly evaluate the on-boarding process’ effectiveness and proactively suggest and implement approved enhancements.
Update status, approvals and spreadsheets for all temporary employees; including Freelance Invoices, Freelance Approval Forms, Weekly and Monthly Status Reports.
Serve as Point of Contact for freelancers regarding any questions or concerns during their time spent with agency.
Work with appropriate internal teams to ensure proper set-up of staff and freelance work space, parking, building and computer access, etc. (IT, HR, Admin).
Demonstrate an understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Ensure confidentiality of all information.
Support employee development and activities that help with employee experience and engagement, such as social and professional development events.
Compile data from personnel records and prepare reports as requested.
Coordinate college internship program.
Support HR in training initiatives, scheduling, and tracking.


2+ years of generalist experience.
High integrity, self-motivated and proven track record in fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a cross disciplinary team environment.
Attention to detail is a must.
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Expert in Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience with our HRIS “Namely” is a big plus!
