First level managers within Capital Markets Middle Office with specific responsibilities in Derivatives and Securities Middle Offices, Collateral Management, OTC or Exchange Traded Derivatives, Settlements and Exception Resolutions, Futures Commission Merchant Operations and Prime Services. The manager will primarily have a staff of analysts at levels 1-3. Group is responsible for working complex issues and processes involving profit and loss generation, profit and loss attribution, trade capture, review both new and amended trades, handle a variety of issues in cash payments, customer, pricing, collateral managemnt, credit, general ledger reconciliation or documentation. The level manager will assist in providing tactical and strategic direction for their specific group.
The Equity Derivative Middle Office control functions primarily support daily PnL analysis and reconciliation as well as regulatory and metrics reporting for the equity cash and derivatives business lines. This position is also responsible for monitoring daily PnL and trading activity, working with the Equity Finance group to address PnL issues, monitor and facilitate Volcker attribution processing. Role is responsible for the continued creation and development of effective operational metrics/control reporting for the Equity Derivative business. The position must be able to navigate various support functions, including: Trading, Sales, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory and Risk reporting. Candidate should have a solid background in project management and delivery, particularly relating to Equity business management and change. As part of the daily control process the resource will be required to review and identify control risks and processing issues, and will be able to resolve issues effectively with various flow and OTC derivative trading desks. This resource will also be expected to assess the existing process environment to identify areas for control enhancements and automation in order to drive change and increase efficiencies across all daily tasks. In addition to daily business as usual support, resource will be expected to deliver on ad hoc business management and operations requests.

5+ years of capital markets industry experience
Extensive knowledge and understanding of all capital markets products, industry trends, regulatory changes, and industry-wide best practices
Leadership skills including the ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexity
Ability to act as a subject matter expert
Cash or derivative products experience
Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
10+ years of cash or derivative products experience
Knowledge and understanding of OTC: derivatives
Change management experience
FINRA registration including Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
FINRA registration including Series 99 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
