WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The successful candidate administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests. They must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa's specific massage and body treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests.
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hours at a time
- Ability to remain calm and polite in stressful situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Schedule flexibility to include working evenings and weekends
- Compute basic arithmetic and mathematical calculations
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and guest satisfaction
- 1+ year previous Spa experience; preferred in a hotel or related environment
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must hold and maintain a MD state massage therapist license and required insurance
