Here is what we are looking for:
We are looking for energetic entry level installers (with a truck) that are willing to grow with a dynamic company that can bring their telecommunications, computer, electrical, maintenance/repair, general labor, cable, or military experience to our team.
As a critical and essential part of the job, you must be adaptable, dependable and trainable in order to learn copper-based installations from CO to Premise. This includes CO connection, Frame connection, Cross Box, Line trouble shooting, Ped work, Trouble shooting, HSI, POTS, Bonded, Fiber basics, Prism. Adcomm Installations Inc. will help you achieve the installation requirements through our paid training program.
You will learn and be responsible for (during and after training) maintaining, repairing and testing copper cable in an underground, aerial, or buried environment. You will troubleshoot problems that will require copper repair, copper maintenance, copper slicing, faultfinding, etc. Splice existing facilities in buried, underground, aerial and building work locations. Will use hand tools, power tools, and specialty tools, including specialty meters (e.g., multi-meters, volt-ohm meters, HST-3000, Sidekick), in inside and outside plant facilities. Perform testing and turn-up of subscriber lines.

The Qualifications you will need:
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record along with a reliable work vehicle. High School diploma or equivalent. Willingness and drive to continually keep up with changes in broadband technology. Strong communication skills – ability to explain technical issues to customers clearly. Flexibility and ability to work independently or as team as customer needs dictate.
Physical Requirements you can expect:
- 6 to 8 hours daily. Walking - 6 to 8 hours daily. Bending/Stooping - 6 to 8 hours daily. Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping) – 6 to 8 hours daily. Lifting (weights up to 100 lbs.) – Occasionally. Lift and Carry (50/60 lbs. for 20 feet) – Regularly. Push / Pull – 6 to 8 hours daily.
