Full Job Description
Conducts and supports quality assurance activities for resettlement programs of the USCCB/MRS diocesan network to ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and to promote quality services, documentation, and consistency in standards applied.
Responsible for the maintenance of quality network performance by providing meticulous desk monitoring; case file documentation guidance; compilation and dissemination of network best practices; technical assistance and training; and participation in network development activities. Works to support high-performance standards and quality resettlement services that meet or exceed requirements.Demonstrates willingness and ability to understand, respect, and contribute to the USCCB mission and fulfill job duties following its Catholic identity.
Undergraduate degree; graduate degree preferred Major:SocialSciences,PublicAdministration or international studies.
Plan and execute comprehensive and detailed desk monitoring and quality assurance; prepare clear and accurate written assessments, including appropriate recommendations to ensurequality services, and provide training and technical assistance, follow-up, and referralsfor specific programs administered by USCCB/MRS.
Develops and manages procedures and organizational systems to ensure timely and efficient on-site review follow-up, desk audits, and monitoring activities
Participate in the development of forms and tools to improve documentation of resettlement services
Track, analyze, and package quantitative and qualitative data on diocesan performance for inclusion in federal reports and proposals, assist in identifying key trends, etc.
Remains knowledgeable of all federal government and USCCB/MRS guidelines and policies and procedures of the resettlement programs managed by the MRS Office of Resettlement Services. The position will work primarily with the Reception & Placement (R&P) program. However, the situation may also assist with other resettlement grants managed by MRS/DDS (such as the Matching Grant and Afghan Placement & Assistance programs) as needed.
Interprets and ensures diocesan compliance with program and financial procedures.
Identifies, packages, and highlights best practices from across the network to strengthen overall network performance.
Identify areas of underperformance in diocesan programs and designs proactive and appropriate performance quality improvements.
Participate in developing content and delivery of training for diocesan staff, including webinars, New Directors Orientation (NDO), national convenings, etc.
Participates in diocesan performance appraisal activities
Participate in internal and external agency workgroups.
Contribute to the development of new national and local programming and initiatives
